Our staff of licensed registered dental hygienists (RDH) are key players in your dental treatment. The preventive regime you select depends upon your course of treatment with Dr. Mullen or Dr. Gaskins. During your visit the hygienist may perform any or all of the following services:

• collect clinical information and take required x-rays and records prior to your appointment with Dr. Mullen or Dr. Gaskins;
• complete a comprehensive prophy or cleaning. Depending upon initial findings, this process may take place during one visit, or it may require a series of appointments;
• develop and demonstrate an individualized care plan to help you keep your teeth clean and gums healthy between appointments;
• determine specific recall intervals to best implement your long-term dental care.
