A
Message from Dr. Mullen
Dear
Patients,
As many of you know, in June of 2008 I suffered a stroke while
on vacation in Florida with my family. I was very fortunate to receive
the best medical care, both in Florida and back home in North Carolina.
Since then, I've made a quick and thorough recovery, regaining almost
100% of my physical mobility. These days I feel great; I'm healthy and
I look forward to many years of well-being to come.
By now most of you
have met Dr. Paul Gaskins, the talented associate who has managed the
practice in my absence. Just as I was fortunate to have the best doctors
caring for me, the practice has been fortunate to have Dr. Gaskins at
the helm and has thrived under his guidance. He is a compassionate dentist
of the strongest integrity, and I am delighted to see how well you, the
patients, have fared under his care. He has been assisted all the while
by our dedicated and capable staff, who always ensure that the practice
runs smoothly and efficiently.
For the time being, as my recovery continues,
I have elected not to practice dentistry. But one of these days, I might
change my mind and be back in the office doing the work that I love.
I've known some of you for nearly 40 years, and I've worked with several
generations of some families. These relationships are what make the practice
not just successful, but truly special to me.
Many thanks to you all
for continuing to seek dental care in the practice, and for all the kind
messages of concern and well-wishes you've sent to me and my family.
We are all very grateful.
Warmest wishes, Jack Mullen
